The ideal candidate must be well-versed in local and international sourcing, capable of handling urgent requirements, and able to negotiate effectively to ensure cost efficiency and timely delivery. Fluency in Hindi is mandatory for smooth communication with vendors and suppliers. Key Responsibilities: The Purchase Incharge will be responsible for sourcing and procuring raw materials such as structural steel, plates, pipes, fittings, and other fabrication consumables. He will handle the entire procurement cycle from RFQ to purchase order issuance and delivery follow-up. Duties include evaluating supplier quotations, negotiating prices and payment terms, ensuring compliance with quality and delivery timelines, and maintaining accurate procurement records. Coordination with the store, estimation, and production departments to plan material requirements is a critical aspect of this role. He must also develop vendor relationships and maintain an approved supplier database. Requirements: The candidate should have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of procurement experience in the steel fabrication or construction industry. Strong knowledge of metal grades, fabrication accessories, and UAE-based suppliers is required. Must be fluent in Hindi and able to communicate in English. Good knowledge of procurement systems, Microsoft Office, and ERP software is essential. Candidate should have strong negotiation skills, be detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple orders under tight deadlines.
